The Spaniards invested a lot in Polish properties. Right now their investments expand on telecommunication sector, banking sector and law sector. Right now the Spaniards invest in Poland 1,1 billion, it’s almost 10 times more than in previous years.

On 15^th November in Warsaw, there was a conference”Internet technologies as a tool in development of Lifelong Learning Programme(LLP)” hosted by Foundation for the Development of the Education System(FRSE) in Poland, where representatives of ESPA EST project were invited.

The 6th partner meeting of the ESPA EST project took place in Warsaw on 25^th-26^th October 2007. The meeting was held by coordinator Warsaw Academy of Computer Science, Management and Administration. That was the last meeting which was summarizing each component/product of the project as well as whole project in general.

We highly recommend to use and check our latests product which is “The Spanish business course for entrepreneurs of SME from Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary”. This is the e-learning course prepared on the basis of the CLIL methodology. It is design for beginners.

The ESPA EST products were promoted during “IILL: Integrated Intercultural Language Learning -  International Conference” which took place in Istanbul from 28 June to 1 July 2007. The Conference gave the opportunity to bring together and display some good practices and products already implemented and running.  All of the products were supported by EU funding programs with a special emphasize on language learning and linguistic diversity in the intercultural dimension. The ESPA EST Project suited perfectly to this conference because it not only teach Spanish as a language but also inform about Spanish businnes environment. ESPA EST also shows different cultural habits in the Spain, in everyday life as well as in business life.

At the meeting the biggest impact were put on the content and the functionalities of the Spanish business course. This matter was discussed for a very long time. The biggest influence was put on the content. The partners were debating on how to form the perfect course for the businessman. It wasn’t the easy task, because the problem was how to teach about the Spanish business environment (which is a really huge amount of information) with the grammar part (only the most necessary rules).

We are glad to present two courses available on our website in the form of e-books. One of them was prepared by our partner FASE. This one is dedicated for more advanced users. The second were prepared by our partner Escuela Europea and it is for beginners.

We are very proud to present the product prepared by Cifesal and Iturbrok called “Cómo hacer negocios en España”(“How to make business in Spain”). This is the manual which inform about business environment in Spain and give practical tips of how to establish a business in Spain. This handbook is written in “easy Spanish”(easy to understand), we hope that after finishing our course, a student will be able to read this manual. But this manual it’s not only for our students but for anybody who know Spanish and who is interesting in detailed report about business situation in Spain.

The recent partners meeting of the ESPA EST project was held in Prague on 8 – 9 March 2007. In the meeting Hungarian, Spanish, Polish and the Czech companies La Vida, Cifesal, Iturbrok, Escuela Europea, Fase, Warsaw Academy and Tempo were present. The aim of the meeting was to discuss and evaluate the progress of works on the project, as well as prepare a promotion strategy for the project.
